Promoting the weavers of the local community and preserving India’s handloom tradition.

It was kickstarted when two dynamic women, Shobha Viswanathan and Sreeremya Sambath decided to get together for this great initiative, with the aim of promoting the weavers of the local community and preserving India’s handloom tradition.

Weavers Village is not a mere business set-up; it is a social service cause too. It provides jobs for the differently abled people, helps the tribal people to find a market for their artworks. It is actively involved in stopping child trafficking and helping the destitute.
